Open seven days a week, The Capital Grille is best known for our expertly prepared steaks, which are dry aged in house for 18 to 24 days and then hand-cut by our restaurant's on-premise butcher. The Capital Grille's wine list features more than 350 selections, and its floor-to-ceiling wine kiosk regularly houses 3,500 - 5,000 bottles. Reservations are recommended but not required. We have dined at Capital Grill for years and the uptown Dallas location is one of the best! We always prefer the bar/lounge area over the main dining room. It’s not only quiet but also reflects a private dining experience. Each table has a beautiful set up to include white linen table covers, spotless wine glasses, and comfortable leather seating. Service provided by staff reflects a professional effort seldom seen in other restaurants and Julio is one of the best. Not only does he note his regulars desires, the right on time offerings of samples from the kitchen and ice cold shaken cocktails he serves are awesome. When you’re ready to order some wine, he is quite knowledgeable and always tries to determine your taste either using the iPad with a wide range of wines or seeks advice from another stellar staff member, Asst. Manager and wine director, Denise. Once your order arrives, it better include the monster cocktail shrimp, Korean bacon slice, tuna tartare or a few dozen oysters! And when ordering a steak or fish…get ready for a treat but don’t forget the shareable sides like crispy Brussel sprouts…awesome comes to mind! Yep…if you walk out hungry you’re doing something wrong!

Very professional wait staff and the food was wonderful as it always is. This is a very predictable place for a working lunch, which is very important when I dine with clients or business partners.

As always a great meal at The Capital Grill. The hostess was able to accommodate our request for a booth and the service was great. The Capital Grill is on the top of my list!

The Wagyu and Wine event is an excellent value providing an exceptional wine pairing with a perfectly prepared burger. The service we received was excellent, provided by Oscar and Ashley. Highly recommend.

Kayla P was our server and I must say she was beyond excellent! She gave us great advice on ordering and was extremely attentive all night. The chips and caviar dip was delicious as well as the tuna tartare. We came for the wine and Wagyu evening but ended up ordering steaks and burgers as well because we couldn't decide what we wanted and instead ordered even more. The lobster Mac blew my mind (a recommendation by Kayla). The drinks were perfectly made and served by Kayla and have to say she truly made our night a special experience.
