Open seven days a week, The Capital Grille is best known for our expertly prepared steaks, which are dry aged in house for 18 to 24 days and then hand-cut by our restaurant's on-premise butcher. The Capital Grille's wine list features more than 350 selections, and its floor-to-ceiling wine kiosk regularly houses 3,500 - 5,000 bottles. Reservations are recommended but not required.     Our visit to The Capital Grill Indianapolis was great. We had reservations and were seated quickly upon arrival. We wanted more of a lunch and ordered from the lunch menu. Two Shrimp Cocktails for sharing, The Capital Grill Cobb Salad with Sliced Tenderloin and Mustard Dressing, two Signature Cheeseburgers With Grilled Onions and Parmesan Fries. For desert we ordered The Capital Grill Cheesecake and the Flourless Chocolate EspressoCake, both for sharing. The service was attentive without getting in the way. They just knew when to show up. The two shrimp cocktails for sharing were delivered on a large glass platter, placed on a stand in the center of the table. The platter covered in crushed ice with the shrimp individually placed around the edge. Ramekins with cocktail sauce and fresh horseradish placed in the middle. Three lemon halves were included. One Cheeseburger was brought for sharing on two plates with both including toppings on the side. Coffee with the deserts ended the meal. The food was simply delicious. The service was attentive, friendly and better than ‘just right.’ This wasn’t just lunch. It was The Capital Grill lunch. Highly recommended.
