Open seven days a week, The Capital Grille is best known for our expertly prepared steaks, which are dry aged in house for 18 to 24 days and then hand-cut by our restaurant's on-premise butcher. The Capital Grille's wine list features more than 350 selections, and its floor-to-ceiling wine kiosk regularly houses 3,500 - 5,000 bottles. Reservations are recommended but not required.     The whole experience was memorable. The service was outstanding. The food tasted fresh and plentiful. We shared a steak because the cuts can be large and they cut it and plated it in the kitchen for us which I was very pleased with. Can’t wait to return.

    We are here a few years ago and had an amazing meal. This time it was just ok, especially for the price. My bf’s lobster was rubbery/overcooked, and the sauce that covered it made no sense with the loin cut that accompanied. My salmon was good, but the season was very safe and predictable, the same I’d expect from an Applebees, though it was a better cut. We did enjoy the mozzarella appetizer, the cocktails were nice, and the service was decent. Overall, we probably won’t be back. A $200 meal that’s “just ok” isn’t what we expected.

    We went in at 8:30 but as the restaurant /kitchen was set to close at 9 they were in a rush to leave. It wasn’t the usual experience you receive. Wish they didn’t offer times that don’t fit with their teams schedule

    The Management, staff, chef and servers NEVER disappoint! Starting with greetings to seating, appetizers to the main course, then dessert! CG is our singularly favorite place for dinner in Jacksonville. Thank you all for a 5 star experience every time we dine!!!
