This b place does well being right by The Paramount. They really play up the pre-show dinner ambience. We were there to see wicked and they had wicked themed cocktails and flying monkeys hanging from the ceiling. Very fun. As soon as we walked in, there was a very pungent odor in the air. We were told it was due to a melted cheese dish that they serve. It was NOT what you want to walk into. We were early for our reservation, but they seated us right away. I love the decor we did cocktails and my Jen martini was absolutely delicious. Service was fine. Drinks were a little slow to come from the bar. As for the food, I make better focaccia. It was dry and hard on top. Celery apple salad was fine. I think it had the same weird bits of cheese from the smell. So it was hard to eat. Roasted carrot and Farro salad with yogurt was delicious. Though personally I would’ve preferred it warm. They have no warm vegetable dishes, only salads. We shared the Wagyu beef and frites. $50 for four small squares of beef and some french fries. The horseradish cream sauce was divine. And in the end, two pieces of that beef and the fries and sauce each turned out to be just right. Two warm cookies to take with us to the show and we hit the road. Overall a decent dining experience.

Always a great vibe and unique food. Menu drifts a little “foo foo” for my taste; there’s fewer options on it I actually want to order than I always think there’ll be. But that’s more reflecting my taste buds than the dishes; I’m a little picky on a few ingredients and everything that comes out of their open kitchen is awesome.

We love going to this place when going to the Paramount for a show. The food is outstanding and the service was great. Special “Wicked” drinks made it fun. Get the steak frites… 🤩

I had not been to the Carlisle Room for a while. My experience this time was not great. The tables are on top of each other, it was very very loud, the menu was limited, food was expensive for the value and there wine selection by the glass was very limited (as in one choice for a Chardonnay). I will not go back

After hearing such good things about this place, it was incredibly disappointing, from the aroma when you walk in, to our waiter’s attitude and general service level. Our “baked cheese” was burnt so badly that it was impossible to even chip it out of the pan, the cocktails tasted like vinegar (undrinkable), and the food was so over peppered that it was unpalatable. Three stars is too generous.

The service was very good. I enjoyed the ambiance and decorations for Wicked. Unfortunately, the food was less than stellar. My burger was very greasy, messy and incredibly over salted to the point of being almost inedible. If we didn’t have to leave for the show then I would’ve sent the food back. Great locator a Paramount show.
