   The Cat is always are go to restaurant when we want a treat out! Always fantastic friendly welcome, and service, outstanding food and great ambiance!

   An excellent experience at The Cat today. We haven't been there for a while but our lunch was delicious, the quality of the food was as we have always remembered it. Attentive but unobtrusive service and a warm and pleasant atmosphere. Nothing seems to have changed so hope to be back again soon.

   I took my 82 Yr old mum and my 102 Yr old grandma and the staff were exemplary! So kind. Food was excellent as always. Raspberry souffle to die for!!! Thank you

   We had a wonderful birthday lunch for my Mum in Law today. The food and the service was exemplary we cannot rate The Cat Inn highly enough. We were so well looked after fantastic food and really helpful and caring staff can’t wait to return soon.

   Another wonderful experience at The Cat Inn. The food was all outstanding. The wine list is great with lots of local choices and varying sizes from 125ml to 500ml carafe to the bottle across many different wines is such a bonus. Friendly, attentive staff and a very reasonable bill. We will definitely return but not wait so long this time! Wish we had this as our local.

    Firstly the positives - my food was lovely, best steak & mushroom pie I’ve had in a long time. The only negative was the service, it was a Thursday evening, not overly busy but two tables were served before us despite us being seated on time before them. It was over 30 mins before my husband got his starter. Hence only 4*
