   Food was good and service was great. Place was mostly empty. A couple of nit picks tho. We got bread with oil prior to the meal. There was so little oil it was served in what looked like an oversized thimble. I got the filet with bernaise sauce and again the amount of sauce was tiny and covered about 2% of the steak. Got my parking ticket validated and still cost $10. All in all just an ok experience.

   The fish was excellent however the ability to cook a steak (filet) medium rare or even close to that … sadly was missing Had to send the steak back 4 times… was either “rare” or well done?? Had to wonder what tools were used to cook to appropriate level. Waiter was nice but staffing short. People were not getting their beverages, not getting their checks in a timely manner etc. Upset customers noted at various tables Sad.

   We had a lovely dinner at Catch of the Pelican recently. They have a new prix fixe menu which was very good. I had the grain salad & my partner had the tomato bisque - both were delicious. We both ordered the salmon, which was cooked perfectly; and for dessert an adffogato -also terrific. The service was very good (attentive without being overbearing or intrusive), and the atmosphere was warm and inviting. Would definitely recommend.

   Pleasantly surprised at the ambience, the food and service. The sticky ribs were awesome as was the Red Fish and scallops were worth ordering again. Debra our sever made the evening very special!

   We had a party of 8 it was first time there and we all loved our drinks and dinner. Our server Curtis was a pleasure he took very good care of us
