The Cellar is the perfect setting for an intimate and romantic evening of fine dining. In 1969, artistic craftsmen of Disneyland fame created a romantic rendezvous in the cellar of the old California Hotel. Intimate and cozy, the dining room is elegant amid structured arches and cave-like walls that are deecorated with wine casks and silver lanterns. Culinary excellence abounds with only the finest and freshest foods prepared in a lighter version of classical French cuisine and finely crafted cocktails which set a benchmark for all of Southern California!

    First time .. the place is beautiful, the food excellent , service is a 10 i recommend only for special occasions because is pricey.

    Prior to dinner we ordered drinks. Vesper martini was in a small glass and had way too much Lalay in it. Lemon drop martini was good. My filet mignon was outstanding. It was served with a good amount of tasty mashed potatoes, but had three chinsy little squashes. Cod was in a gravy as opposed to a sauce that could complement the fish or the fish complement the sauce. The difference for me is quantity to differentiate a sauce versus a gravy. Plate presentation for the cod was very subpar.Cod was also overcooked. Server was great. I would not go back.

    Great food and service. Very unique place from the inside, it’s a must see. The only issue is hidden underground and no clear direction where the entry way is.

    Beautiful dining experience! Gracie was an excellent server..really made for a delightful meal. The cocktails by Dustin are always fantastic and the food was delicious! Can’t wait to be back.

    The cellar restaurant never disappoints. The food selection is great and always delicious. In my opinion, what really stands out here is their cocktail program and their superb service. This place is wonderful for date night, celebrations, special occasions, and if you just want a nice and quiet meal. I highly recommend the cellar! It's definitely my go to for special occasions.

    Amazing restaurant. A speak-easy style restaurant located downtown of a downtown building. The filet for two was cooked perfectly. Will be back.

    The cellar is a fantastic little spot in Fullerton! I would highly recommend it. The cocktail menu rotates and the regular menu has some seasonal items on it as well. I would definitely suggest a reservation for this place as it fills up quick. Food is fantastic. Service is great!

    Birthday night and we felt like we were rushed. The waitress as a bit green and the food was just okay. I would have expected more from this establishment. My New York was all tough and I wish I had eaten some place else. Not even a complimentary dessert for the birthdays.

    Easily one of our favorite special occasion dinner spots. The food, drinks, service, and ambiance are truly top notch. Our server was perfectly attentive as we celebrated our anniversary, making it feel extra special. The lobster bisque is some of the best around and the chateaubriand was cooked to perfection. We cannot wait to return!
