   Came for Valentine’s Day. Service was fantastic and loved the aeshetics but the food was no where near worth the price point. 175 a person for the day to have our food come out late and my steak not cooked right. Our server was great and accommodating but overall just wasn’t happy with the quality of food

   Arrived early to have a drink at the bar in the entry. Our reservation for 7:30pm was available early so we proceeded to our table. Our server was friendly and informative about the special menu. Our drink orders went in and the service began. Our first course of roasted cauliflower and grilled tiger prawns was delicious. This is where the service declined momentarily. We sat for 45 minutes after the first course was complete for the second course to arrive. Apparently the butternut soup ran dry and more was needed. Interestingly, soup was still being served to tables seated well after. The table next to us sent their soup back to be warmed because it was cold. While waiting for second course, the drinks were dry and we weren’t asked about another drink until we stopped the server. Once the second course arrived it was delicious. The third and fourth course got back on track and the restaurant recovered. For having a Pre Fixe menu, Firehouse was not adequately prepared for their menu selections this night.

   I reserved the night of February 14 back in December thinking I’m gonna have a wonderful special dinner, but no that was not the case we got there we sat down. Everything was good. We ordered our food. Our appetizer came out and a little over an hour went by and we noticed everyone else is getting their first entrée and we have not the waiter comes up and says let me go see what’s taking so long and he never comes back. Maybe 10 minutes go by some kid comes up with salads trying to make us happy because our orders haven’t came out yet and at that point I just got fed up and we got up and left. It was one of the worst experiences ever I would not recommend this restaurant to anyone if you wanna elegant nice restaurant go to Allora.

   We've celebrated many events at Firehouse but this year was the first time we spent our Valentine dinner there. And it was fabulous! We sat down in the basement where one of their wine cellars is located. It was very quiet. Very cozy. The food, as usual, was fantastic! A four course meal and wine was absolutely delicious. Our main server and the rest of the wait staff that took care of us were very accommodating. We've decided that future Valentine dinners too will be celebrated at the Firehouse.

   We were celebrating 50 years since we got engaged at the Firehouse on Valentine’s Day. Both evenings… the one 50 years ago and the one last night were magical for us. The service and dinner were amazing from beginning to end. ♥️

   Yet again the very best fine dining experience in the Sacramento area. Absolutely flawless evening, from service to ambience to the food. The scallops and the rack of lamb were perfection.
