Overall, it was amazing. This was the first Thanksgiving my Mom ate out. She absolutely loved it. I was a little disappointed to wake up and find the restaurant had attempted almost $400 in cancelation fees. Thank goodness my credit card declined the charge. I have reached out to both Open Table and the restaurant about this issue. Otherwise, it was an amazing experience, and the food was absolutely delicious. We'll definitely go back again.

Everything was AMAZING, We went for the Thanksgiving night meal and it was amazing. Although me and my wife did feel it was a bit overpriced for the value we received. BUT you absolutely have to try this place at least once. Especially to see old town Sacramento!

Food was fair but not worth the $ 90 per person. Il Fornia Restaurant for a three course Thanksgiving was $ 60 per person. With tip my bill was over $ 300. The turkey was turkey roll- expected fresh roasted turkey for $ 90 per person. Desserts were very disappointing. The apple pie was Raley's qualitity and the upside dowm punkin tort tasted like a muffin. This is the second time I have been disappointed with the Firehouse restaurant and will not give them an opportunity a third time. It was an excellent restaurant 10 to 20 years ago.

The servers were very accommodating and kind. The meal was delicious. We brought our daughter who has Autism in for a Thanksgiving meal. We had a wonderful evening.

Four of us dined for thanksgiving dinner, so perhaps our experience was partly related to that. The meal was decent. The entrees were tasty, the rolls and dessert were underwhelming. But I think what put a damper on the evening was our server. He was clearly undertrained. I blame the management more than the waiter. They should have been able to tell he was undertrained. He disappeared for 20+ minutes at a time, was always surprised to learn our next course wasn’t out yet and then we had to track him down twice to finally get our bill.

Compared to the Thanksgiving dinner we enjoyed 2 years ago at the Firehouse, this was a disappointment. The first table they sat us at was noisy and cold due to cold from the front door and also coming from above. So we requested a table change which was acceptable. For $90, the food was just okay. Only one item was offered for the first course (a Spinach salad). I am unable to eat raw spinach, so I did not get a first course. I asked about a soup but they said no other choices were available. You would think for $90 they could offer more than one choice! Our main course of filet mignon was disappointing. I requested rare and I got closer to medium rare. And the side items were mashed potatoes and two carrots. Not very imaginative for an expensive holiday meal. One of the desserts choices was already "sold out" at 5:00 pm. Very poor planning. We will not be returning to the Firehouse for future holiday meals.

My 1st visit to the restaurant & 1st going to a restaurant on Thanksgiving. Entering at the front door of the Firehouse was Positive & Cordial from patrons, coming & going. Staff took it to the next level - Attentive & Welcoming. A Ceja '19 Pinot our sidekick enhanced our very satisfying selection.
