BEHIND EVERY GREAT SEAFOOD RESTAURANT IS A WAREHOUSE STOCKED WITH FRESH SEAFOOD.
The Fishery Restaurant & Market is located just a few blocks from the ocean in North Pacific Beach.
The restaurant menu reflects ‘coastal cuisine’ with a simple yet serious focus on the best our coastal fisheries and local farms have to offer. The passion that drives Chef Mike Reidy is evidenced by flavors that can only be achieved using ingredients at their peak of seasonality and freshness.
The Fishery was awarded the prestigious Award of Excellence for its Wine List from Wine Spectator in 2018- Present. Our wine list is inspired by the great wines of Europe and their American counterparts and we strive to showcase real, natural, food friendly-wines with a sense of place.

The Fishery Market showcases fresh fish, prepared seafood, salads, sauces and marinades.

    6pm reservation on New Years Eve. All but 3 inside tables were filled and the restaurant had only been open 30min! Excellent service with multiple employees for water, cocktails, food delivery. Spotted Bass was good but a very boney fish. Salmon was delicious. Noise level at dining was up there but not “bar” level. Overall a 4-star experience from 6-7:30pm on New Years Eve with wait staff rated at 5 stars. Love when management bring on extra staff for holidays. Well done!

    Our server was attentive and delightful. The food was delicious. The Caesar salad was perhaps too heavily dressed. The fried calamari was delicious. We shared the halibut fish and chips were the best ever.

    Fourth time, just as good as the first time. So good. The swordchop was amazing. The albacore dip, so so good. Drinks were fire. Looking forward to our fifth visit!

    The Fishery was a delightful find in the heart of Pacific Beach. It featured very fresh, perfectly prepared seafood dishes in a casual but upscale setting. Highly recommend!

    We first came to Fishery back in August 2012 and had never stopped thinking about their Ahi poke appetizer and finally being able to return, I was extremely disappointed by how their new version is now. No more bed of seaweed, cilantro, avocado, cucumber, chili oil and instead just wasabi mayo and a bit of micro greens with nori. The 2 versions are not even close both visually nor taste.

    Highly recommended. In particular Eddie A. shared his culinary and wine expertise with balanced enthusiasm, excellent service, all staff welcoming. Food memorable. If you are a fish lover this is the restaurant for you from the appetizers through the main course. Fantastic cocktails and an excellent wine list.
