   Such amazing staff and food, we visited for my Nan’s birthday and they heard us talking about it and surprised us with a sweet treat at the end for her. Highly recommend!

   It was a wonderful occasion for the celebration of our wedding anniversary with our 87 Yr old mother. The staff were sympathetic and kind. The food was delicious. We'll definitely return again soon!

   Roast menu is limited to beef only which is fine but would have been great to have more options. That said it was very good but slightly over priced for 2 thin slices of beef, even if it was good quality.

   Very disappointed. My wife had to complain about her Hake main course, and they took it off the bill, but it spoilt the whole experience.

   We had dinner at The George Grill as part of an overnight stay and found it to be excellent. The food was delicious and well presented, and the staff were professional and welcoming. A big thank you to our waiter (who was from the Canary Islands) and was friendly, very attentive and provided an excellent service. We had the Romney Marsh lamb for starters which tasted amazing, followed by the Hake and clams with coconut verde sauce, equally delicious. Dessert and cheeses were fab. The following morning we thoroughly enjoyed the continental and cooked breakfast. The poached eggs were cooked perfectly and the smoked salmon was high quality. This is our second visit here and although the menu may be limited for some, it is of high standard.

   Wonderful food, had roast beef, best roast potatoes and cauliflower cheese I’ve ever tasted! Attentive and friendly service. Looking forward to visiting again.

    I think the dining room (the top area) is pretty boring and stale, our steaks weren’t cooked according to order, we all ordered medium but they were all well done (we didn’t complain as we didn’t want to make a fuss), also the seasonal veg we guessed were cooked in or with mustard which wasn’t mentioned on the menu and we aren’t mustard fans. We still had a lovely evening
