   We had an absolutely lovely time at the Greene Oak once again. The food was incredible and the service was second to none!!! We love it here and couldn’t recommend it highly enough.

   Having visited the Greene Oak on numerous occasions in the past it was always a favourite; however our most recent visit was very disappointing. After arriving, the waitress took our drinks order, and after 15mins she proceeded to go home… our drinks arrived some time after delivered by someone else. We then waited longer to order food. It took 45mins to get our food which was very disappointing. The burger was dry, overcooked and for £21 had processed cheese in it which seemed an odd choice for what is usually a restaurant of very high standards. We also ordered the hotpot which was greasy, salty and the potatoes on top didn’t seem to be cooked properly. The whole meal seemed a much lower quality than normal and despite raising the concerns we were told that other people had enjoyed their meal which seemed like an odd response. A real shame that one of our favourite places seems to have gone downhill.

   Booked this for a birthday dinner . Never been before . Everything was lovely food and service . Really inventive menu but nice portions . Totally recommend

   We went for lunch before visiting Windsor Castle. The food was very good the place was welcoming clean and good value. Our waitress was super efficient and friendly. I would definitely recommend.

   Good size portion and excellent quality, the roast beef and potatoes were the best I have ever had in a restaurant

   Not impressed at all with quality of the food. Seafood cocktail was defrosted small prawns and tasteless. Steak was perfectly cooked but that didn’t help as quality of the meat was substandard
