   Ranch on Easter Sunday. Mushroom omelette,delicious. Crispy potatoes also delicious.

   We have been to Newport numerous times over the years and have had some wonderful meals at other popular restaurants, but our meal last night at The Grill took to prize. My husband and I had an early dinner and sat at a prime table overlooking the dock, as the sun was beginning to set. Our server was great and provided immaculate attention to detail. The food was terrific. My risotto was one of the best risottos I had ever had and I have tried lots. My husband’s strip was cooked perfectly and the sides were very complimentary. I also had a few lychee cosmos which were delightful. Overall, our experience at The Grill was one our favorites so far in Newport!

   They called me the day after we dined and told me that they charge me the wrong amount and that they were going to charge me more. Give them your credit card don’t give them. My only advice is pay cash if you go to this restaurant so that they cannot blindside you and charge you way more the next day without sending you an itemized bill.

   Celebrated a birthday brunch here today. Srdan took care of us from start to finish. He was amazing. Super attentive, friendly, and full of great suggestions for the area. Our brunch was outstanding and the chef outdid herself. A memorable experience for sure. Can’t wait to come back and enjoy it all over again.

   The bar and restaurant area is beautiful and the staff were welcoming and attentive. The menu has options for everyone but the execution was slightly lacking. It was a busy night, so maybe the kitchen was a bit underwater for part of the night. We’ve been before and it was almost perfect. We’ll be back.

   My husband and I (and dog.. yes, a dog friendly establishment) always have a wonderful experience at The Grill at Forty 1 North. We usually have our regular server, Srdan. He is absolutely wonderful! We also met the new executive chef, Ally. Compliments to the chef for a delightful meal.

    We like 40 North. Went for the Burger Bender event. The burger was good but we asked for medium rare and is came out medium. While the server was very friendly, he was less attentive than expected. The place was busy either. We’ve had great meals at 40 North.
