The food is consistently delicious, my rare-plus steak was cooked perfectly. My husband’s chicken pot pie was very good. Four of us were at a quiet corner table, escaping a lot of the noise.

Our entire experience at the Grill on the Alley was fantastic! The maître D, Ben, extended a very warm greeting to us. The general manager, Giorgio, was standing at the door and was gave us a warm and energetic welcome! Our server made great recommendations and took great care of us. The food was wonderful and the ambiance is lively and classy. We visit the Grill on the Alley most every time we are in town. We always have a great experience.

Obviously, the location is ok and valet parking ($15) right outside the door. Here are the problems we experienced on a Friday night at 7 pm. First, if you are a table of 2, be prepared to sit very close to another table of 2 and share your conversation with them. Second, it is so loud, it is like the old TGIF restaurants. You literally have to yell. There is no sound absorption with the walls or ceiling. Third, at 7 pm on a Friday, they were out of Dory Fish, Ribeye Steak and Porterhouse Steak. It's like KFC being out of chicken This restaurant is a STEAK HOUSE!! LOL. The onion soup at $17 was ok but overpriced. The onion "strings" were very good. We had the Kansas City Steak which is "big enough for two" serving. It was ok. Regarding service, we were seated at 7 pm and left at 9:15 pm. Not our choice as there were huge gaps in service waiting for food or "waiter" attention. So, if you love lots of noise, spending 2 hours to eat, being cozy with your neighboring table, having a minimum selection of steak in a Steak House, go for it.

The food is fantastic. The service is impeccable. Very fun experience because after going a few times they address you as you are a friend of the house.
