About this restaurant

  • Neighborhood gem
  • Great for brunch
  • Good for special occasions
Located on the grounds of the Oak Creek community, the Grove stems from a rich history that began in 1819, where the original eight hundred and fifty acres of land was filled with Oak trees that has now become the foundation for this community. The word Grove serves as a metaphor between the many families who represent our community and a group of oaks which is the symbol of “strength” and “endurance”. The Grove is a casual fine dining experience meant to bring family and friends together. Sleek, inviting, and comfortable design elements makes The Grove the perfect place to Be, Eat, and Celebrate.

We love their regular menu, but came on Mothers Day when they had a buffet. We’ve had their buffet before and it had a lot of options, today that was not the case. The options were very limited and didn’t taste good. We were appreciative of the small fruit bowls, that was the only healthy item. And the price for the buffet was extremely high for what they offered. Well come back for their regular menu, but not the buffet (when we made the reservation they did not mention the buffet)

The Brunch menu was good; not a lot of options but for the price it was good. We went on Easter Sunday and they included a complimentary Mimosa and there was an Easter egg hunt for the kids.

Gave 1 star because we made reservations only to get there and they were closed. No one answered the phones. Even when I followed up during the week. Other guests pulled up with reservations as well. If the business is closed please update open table.

The champagne glass I received had lipstick on it. The food was decent. The service was subpar considering it wasn’t that crowded.

The service was really bad. The restaurant was very empty so I was very surprised. We had to ask our waitress for napkins, the check, utensils, etc. She didn’t check on us one time and was on her phone or otherwise occupied.

The Grove is a hidden gem. The food was very good and the service was excellent. It is a good place to go for a nice dinner with good size portions at a reasonable price. The ambience was nice with an upscale crowd. The hostess Ms. Ethel is very knowledgeable about The Grove and treated us like family. I highly recommend The Grove and will definitely return.

Even though I made reservations and received a confirmation when I arrived at the restaurant it was closed for a private event. This is the fourth time this has happened to me. The manager apologized and made a promise to reduce my check on my next visit. I was asked to email him with my details. I have done so TWICE with no response from him. Due to his lack of interest in retaining me as a customer I feel it necessary to give a poor rating. When I have actually dined there my experience has been nothing short of great, Hopefully management will honor their promises in the future.

I went for Sunday brunch buffet. It was basic. Decent variety but nothing was that good. Customer service was slow despite it being quiet
