   We love this place. The happy hour food and drink prices are unbeatable. The server was working very hard and did really well overall. Our dinner was excellent as always. This is a must!

   I love the food! Outstanding quality and quantity. But please tell the students that they DO NOT need to interrupt every few minutes to ask how the food is! During our 2.5 hour dinner our server and various other staff were at our table 17 times! This truly made our evening celebrating a birthday clumsy! Stop and go conversation, meal interruptions, full water glasses being topped up! Read the table and come over when appropriate please!

   The food and service were excellent! Cannot say enough about how hard the students work and the quality of everything at the Highwood. It was a great experience!

   The service was very disappointing despite having better service previously. The overall experience was unfortunately mediocre and underwhelming. Not enough clarification from the server regarding dishes which clashed with dietary restrictions.

   We had a lovely dinner at the Highwood, the team was very friendly and attentive, the food was absolutely delicious and inventive, it was great to see the phenomenal skill set of the students at SAIT’s culinary school. We can’t wait to come back!

   Went for a Christmas lunch with family. Was great for all ages with delicious food, wonderful atmosphere and incredibly affordable.

   Kristina did an outstanding job at serving our table! However the food was a bit disappointing, we ordered 2 salmon entree and 4 surf n turf, while both salmon dishes were delicious. The 3 out of 4 steak were way overcooked and dry. We have ordered 2 medium rare and 2 medium, all turns into “well done” and tough to chew. Hoping to see improvement next time.

    I have been to the Highwood before and really enjoyed it. Last night we went and I thought this time was just OK. Our server was hard to understand and we asked several times to explain it again. She showed us pictures of the food on her phone with one of the ladies in our party would describe what was in the photo. We chose our food (6 people in our party) and drinks. The drinks were great, the appies came out and they were very good. 2 salads, 1 asparagus soup, spinach dip and charcuterie board. They did not take the dirty plates until everyone at the table was finished. I personally do not like to sit infront of an empty plate until the rest of my party is finished. The meals came, 2 salmon, 2 chicken and 2 surf and turf. The salmon dishes were great. The chicken both had a cold potato and yam lasagna looking dish. They were sent back and replaced with hot dishes. Still unevenly cooked and tasteless. The surf and turf had a very tasty lobster roll, but the steak was tough and really not that fabulous. We did have desserts, apple tart, chocolate cake but more like a thick fudge, I was rather disappointed in the main meals during this visit.
