   Horrible experience. Wait service was rude and racist. Waiter ignored my husband, even when we called him over. Our meal was rushed. The service was so bad I don’t want to attend any of the other Ivy’s. Save yourself the £100, choose something else.

   Service was great and staff lovely, food wasn’t so good as we’ve come to expect from the Ivy… Kids portion was massive (but tasty), adults were ok tasting but just not quite Ivy standard this time sadly.

   Wonderful service & food to celebrate my daughter’s engagement. They even brought two complimentary celebratory profiteroles for the engaged couple.

   Have eaten here several times but today was not the best experience overall. Changed table as a booth felt squashed, moved to table the other side but right in the thoroughfare next to the bar & a bit too close, so much so that our friends on the outside of the table took an elbow to the head from a guest meeting friends at the bar ~ you could see it happening! Server lovely, attentive & incredibly helpful but & no offence required antiperspirant ~ it was continuous throughout the meal as back & forth to reach tables 😭 food generally great, but set menu needs slightly more info. Steak drowned in sauce so one returned as unexpected & profiteroles were full of ice-cream & sickly chocolate mousse so disappointing, fruit drinks strong & glad when ice melted ~ not fresh as anticipated & pretty expensive. Begrudgingly paid 16% service charge. This Ivy seems tired now & complacent overall unfortunately.

   Lovely atmosphere. Were given 2 free glasses of champagne and a large profiterole when we informed them it was our 53rd wedding anniversary. Food was reasonably priced. Our only criticism was the price of the wine. At £38 for the cheapest bottle, I know of friends who will not return because of that. A few £25 bottles would provide an overall 5 star review. Cheers.    The set meal was tasty. I loved the crab starter and the fish gougons were delicious. However I did think the drinks were very expensive. The cheapest bottle of wine was £38 and a gin and tonic £15. The service was very good.

    Poor service Started off ok, starter came quickly seated at a nice table. Main meal took a long time to come. Plates took a long time to be collected. We were not asked if we wanted a desert or coffee. I asked for the bill, we were charged for two chips not one as ordered. It was Mother’s Day, all mums were being given a bunch of flowers, no flowers were brought to our table. When I asked a staff member about the flowers he told me to ask someone else. When I asked someone else he walked over to us with two bunches which I had assumed one was for my mum and one for me (as i also had my daughter with me and am a mother) but he gave the second bunch to the person behind me. They said they had run out of flowers for the day (at 3 pm on Mother’s Day when we had pre booked they should have had enough for the number of bookings they had) Also one of the waiters bringing our food had a very long beard down to his chest. I feel this is quite unhygienic when serving food
