   The best value good food good service ,try all Keg this location taste right to my expectation most delicious restaurant in lower Minglan , this time sat outside, feel very nice relax and more privacy tonight it’s a rainy, but they have the heater on so it feel like in tropical weather

   Good service & food. But seating area was really tight. Chairs were back to back. And the servers kept hitting the seats while sliding by. Tried the Bite of Burnaby. Very nice 3 course.

   Came here for me and my partner's anniversary and we were very happy. Our server Shaq gave great service and we were treated with complimentary champagne and dessert which was a really nice surprise. The food was good overall, my husband's steak was great, but mine was pretty tough and chewy.

   Loved the idea of a “set” menu 1 FAIR price for all 3 entries and each entry had great/many choices to choose from A lot of knowledgeable helpful staff was great also Gud onya KEG

   Bite of Burnaby at The Keg – A Satisfying Steakhouse Experience Taking advantage of the Bite of Burnaby menu at The Keg, we opted for a three-course meal priced at $65 per person. While the food experience had its highs and lows, the service was outstanding, and it was overall a solid dining experience. Starters: We began with the Keg Caesar and Iceberg Wedge Salads. The Keg Caesar was a classic, well-dressed with a creamy yet balanced dressing and topped with crispy buttered panko, adding a nice crunch. The Iceberg Wedge was fresh, crisp, and generously topped with bacon, tomatoes, and a flavorful blue cheese dressing. Both salads were well-executed, setting a good tone for the meal. Mains: The Prime Rib was the highlight—perfectly cooked, tender, and flavorful, with a rich red wine herb au jus complementing the dish beautifully. It was exactly what you’d hope for from The Keg’s signature cut. The French Onion Sirloin, on the other hand, had decent flavor but was a bit tough to chew, which was a slight letdown. The caramelized onions and grana padano added depth, but the texture didn’t quite match the enjoyment of the prime rib. Desserts: We ended on a sweet note with the Billy Miner Pie and Cheesecake. The Billy Miner Pie was massive—a delightful mocha ice cream treat with a chocolate crust, fudge, caramel, and almonds. Definitely a must-share dessert! The Cheesecake was on the heavier side but incredibly decadent, with a delicious raspberry sauce adding a bright contrast to its richness.

   Had a special birthday and our waiter was amazing and nailed it! Great booth for the birthday brought my wife’s cake out lit perfect timing and gave her a great birthday. He made the evening as well as the great food.

    I love to eat steak and have been to many The Keg Steakhouse locations (Dunsmuir, Granville Island, Yaletown, Richmond, Coquitlam and other locations) and always love going back to this franchise, until now. On Wednesday March 19, I took my husband, my sister and my mom to the Burnaby Keg on Still Creek Drive and this was the first time I had a very bad experience, particularly with my bone-in ribeye steak. After our lobster bisque, our entrees came out and my ribeye steak was not warm at all (in my past experiences my ribeye steak was always piping hot and I always ordered 'medium'). Last Wednesday I ordered my steak 'medium' per normal but the meat was tough, dry and no marbling. It had no flavor. Now I don't expect them to brine the meat but it almost seemed like they didn't even bother to season or marinate it before cooking. I've had plenty of bone-in ribeye steaks from other Keg locations and my experiences have always been that they were juicy, tender, lots of marbling, very flavorful and even the bone had a lot of smoky flavor that I always craved for more. Well, not last Wednesday, so I was extremely disappointed that a restaurant of this caliber would put out such poor quality food like this. Because Mom was with us and I wanted her to enjoy her dinner because she was going to have a medical procedure next week, I didn't want to make a fuss, so I didn't inform our server about the poor quality of my steak. I ate very little of my ribeye steak and took the rest home so I could heat it up. When I ate it at home it was still the same tough meat, dry and absolutely no flavor at all. Very disappointing! It's been two days but unfortunately I cannot forget this very bad experience and so I decided to write about it.
