Led by Chef William Dissen, our restaurant celebrates the vibrant flavors of the region with a menu featuring locally sourced ingredients from within a 100-mile radius of Asheville. We're proud to have been named a semi-finalist for the prestigious James Beard Award for Outstanding Restaurant. Join us for dinner beginning at 5 pm where you can enjoy our delicious dishes alongside a local beer or a handmade cocktail.

Due to the unpredictable weather in the mountains, patio tables cannot be reserved.

    Amazing food. Waitstaff really knew the food. Local food as much as possible. We had the trout and lamb shank. Killer.

    I ordered the mushroom Tagliatelle, it was excellent. A person in our group had trouble with the skin and bones in her trout.

    we always love the market but last nights dinner didn't do it for us. we ordered the trout and although the trout itself was wonderful... we didn't care for the way it was prepared. nothing was wrong with it... just didn't fit out taste.

    We had a great time! Market Place is always good, great outside eating area, and the inside is good as well. The steak was perfect, I would change nothing!

    This is the second time I’ve dined at The Market Place, and it was just as outstanding as the first! My meal was delicious, and the wine that was suggested paired nicely. Highly recommend!

    Always enjoy this Asheville gem. Food is so flavorful fresh and beautiful! Had the yummy carrot ginger soup tonight with the roast chicken dinner, onion tart and greens. Dessert was almond cake soaked in Amaretti and Marzipan topped with dark chocolate and raspberry sauce. Fabulous! Will be back!
