The Palm Court’s Afternoon Tea truly shines with custom tableware and china, a fragrant tea list steeped in history, and of course, a bit of precocious Eloise too. Guests are invited to nibble on our in-house Pastry Chef’s unique culinary offerings like delicate finger sandwiches, buttery scones and elegant desserts, which are all made from scratch with local, seasonal and sustainable ingredients.

Hours:
Breakfast* | 6:30 a.m. – 10:30 a.m.
Confirmed breakfast reservations at The Palm Court
are reserved for hotel guests at this time.

Afternoon Tea | 11:00 a.m. – 4 p.m.

Evening Prix Fixe | 6 p.m. – 11 p.m.
Reservations are not required but recommended
*Evening prix fixe menu ends at 10:30 p.m.
*Based on hotel occupancy. Hotel guests will be priority.

Keep these four walls filled with the buzzing excitement that makes our castle on Central Park a location that continues to withstand the test of time. We will welcome guests at 9PM through 1AM. Cancellations made within 14 days of the event will be non-refundable. No shows will be non-refundable.

    Absolutely gorgeous room for dining! The food was delicious, looked wonderful in its presentation and provided an experience for my cousins and me that will be a memory forever. I was under the assumption that the tea was included in the pricing for the high tea, so imagine my surprise when I was charged $65 per pot of tea. That was unexpected.

    Ambiance is very luxurious , as guests will know. We ordered two teas. We ended up, without asking, paying $393 for two teas and some little sweets and fingerfood that appeared unprompted on a stand. Be very careful with the menu. They do not ask if you would like food, it appears as little finger food. Prices are not listed by the tea and are hard to find, and do not correspond to what you will order.

    Very expensive for what you get. Service was impeccable as you would expect from the Plaza but at the price you pay (£160 pp) I was disappointed, a very expensive experience. Not something I would rush back for or recommend.

    The price of the tea was rediculous! $155 for a few sandwiches and tea is the worst. Then they add their own service charge. Very misleading to our entire party. Over $900 for four of us. The experience was nice but totally not worth that price! Disappointed!

    Continues to have service in a beautiful location. But the bar has added too much noise to the space. Difficult to enjoy the ambiance with espresso martinis yelling from the center of the room. The Plaza Tea has lost its charm.
