About this restaurant

  • Good for special occasions
  • Charming
  • Neighborhood gem
Not only can you get a juicy roast prime rib at The Parson"s Table, but you can eat it inside a church, too. The location remains very much the same structure that it was in 1885, when Little River Methodist Church was built. The cherished establishment first opened its church doors as a restaurant in the late 1970's and has been serving exquisite American steakhouse fare ever since. The restaurant's decor is positively Southern-charm antique, complete with dark wooden walls, stained glass windows and an original Tiffany glass lamp in the main dining room. An award winning wine list graces The Parson's Table as well as an outstanding fresh seafood selection.

We had a great dinner. Filet was delicious, short ribs were very tender & house salad was tasty. Our server Matt was outstanding. Thank you!

I took my wife to of our friends. It was my wife’s birthday. I made the reservations. The waiter gave the bill to one of my guests and I told him I wanted the bill I was gonna pay. He said the lady already asked for it so one of my guests actually paid for our dinner And left the tip. I am not very happy. I feel that since I made the reservation I should’ve been the person in charge to handle this we will not be returning.

The server was nice enough but food coming out of the kitchen was very slow. Food was cold and the steaks were not what was ordered. A damn shame. It’s under new ownership and the Murry’s are long gone. I’ve been going to Parsons Table since 1990. It’s never more

Good as I remember it from 10 years ago. Little noisy with large golf party, but why we ate early to avoid. Waitress was excellent
