   First time We've been to The Plough after being highly recommended by family. When we first arrived and got seated a waitress came up straight away and took our drinks order We then waited ages to be asked what food we wanted, to the point we had to go up to the counter and make a staff member aware we were waiting to order. Food soon came and was fantastic, we really enjoyed our dishes. Same thing happened again, waited over 20 mins, so went up to the counter again to ask for a dessert menu then still didn't get served until we went up yet again to tell staff we were ready to order. Food/ puddings were really nice and Staff were really friendly just service poor to say it wasn't that busy Will go back again as like said we enjoyed the food

   Immediate warm welcome. Shown straight to our table. Staff very friendly and helpful. Staff gave us time to make decisions on food orders so we didn’t feel rushed. The food was amazing (as always). Lovely atmosphere.

   The food, the staff & atmosphere were faultless. The only downside was that we had to wait half an hour for our food to arrive, but we were kindly advised of this when we arrived. Definitely will be returning.

   Was ok. Coffee was spilled and waitress spilled orange juice over my friends bag and coat and just walked off! Sloppy service. Rest ok. 4/10 tops.

   Lovely brunch. Good service and attentive staff, great atmosphere. Took a friend who hasn’t been before - she really enjoyed it.

   This was a really nice place to have a birthday dinner - we were given a relatively private eating space and the service was amazing!! One of our orders was delayed and they were so nice about it they took it off the bill and gave us gift cards to redeem next time! Really lovely experience and food and will definitely be back!!

   Can’t go wrong with 2-4-1 Burger nights (although it’s really an all-day thing on Tuesdays). Buffalo chicken burger is always a winner. Consistency is import for date nights or when you’ve simply talked up something and don’t want to disappoint your guests. The Plough always makes your choice stand out from others…would highly recommend. Book a table for the convenience and to save disappointment if you’re four or more. Anyway, enjoy! ☺️

   Arrived before booked time so one of us chose from the brunch menu the other from the lunch menu. The breakfast was substantial but at £17.50 is the dearest I have experienced. That said is was very good. The winter vegetable and Stilton pie was also very good and was the same price. Service was good, attentive but not overbearing

    We had the nicest brunch, restaurant was lovely, food was incredible. So many gluten free options, would fully recommend.
