Located at the base of the Valley Express and inside the Blue Mountain Inn, The Pottery Alpine Restaurant is a fixture of the Blue Mountain experience. Drawing inspiration from Jozo's entrepreneurial spirit and his love for the mountains, the restaurant's design echoes the rustic charm of Alpine lodges.

The menu at The Pottery Alpine Restaurant showcases a fusion of the flavours and harvests of the Georgian Bay region with the flavours of Jozo's ancestral home in Eastern Europe. Whether you are looking for an intimate dining experience or bringing together a large gathering, come in and enjoy delicious menu items including Seared Scallop Risotto or the classic Alpine Schnitzel.

An overall cold atmosphere with a somewhat uninformed wait staff. Food was only mediocre. Granted Austria isn’t renowned for its cuisine. The Tomahawk pork chop was well smoked but hopelessly dry. The spatzle was gluey. The goulash was bland. The chicken schnitzel was OK. One form of cabbage was extremely vinegar. The other form of cabbage was spiced with too much clove. The whole meal for five of us was uninspired, and generally uninteresting. I was also surprised I had to put a $40 credit card hold for the table when the restaurant was 2/3 empty… Summary: not worth the money.

Loved our dinner at The Pottery. Wonderful roast beef dinner. The ambience could be enhanced by turning down the lights…the bright lights feel like a cafeteria instead of a fine dining restaurant.

Believe the hype about the cinnamon bun. Wait staff were amazing too. Can’t get there from the Village and parking was a nightmare so factor that in.

Wonderful meal for the first time there. Disappointed there was no bread of any kind. Lots of food for the price. Will be back

Unfortunately the kitchen was understaffed and we were there for a fixed prix menu for over 2.5 hrs and did not even stay for dessert. Our waitress was lovely and tried her best. The restaurant was less than half full. We won’t be going back and we are locals.
