   It's been 49 years since our first fondue at The Ram. We think it's the perfect restaurant to enjoy everything which is Sun Valley. The food is wonderful, the wine list extensive and the service was efficient and unobtrusive.

   It was fortunate that we were able to get a reservation to The Ram Restaurant as last minute as we did. We had never been there before, but I saw the menu in a local magazine called “Taste of Sun Valley”. It looked fabulous! The service was friendly and excellent upon entering to leaving. The menu items were varied and unique, but quite expensive. Ordinarily we would order our own meals and drinks but were not that hungry. My husband and I shared the crab cake (exquisite), beet salad (unique and delicious) and the beef tenderloin (melt in your mouth). The total came to about $150. We did not have cocktails or wine with dinner as we already had cocktails before arriving. The live music (piano) was pleasant during our meal and the atmosphere lively. The ambiance was more casual than I expected, but was still nice. I recommend The Ram Restaurant for very special occasions or celebrations.

   Very disappointed - expensive food with little creativity. Service was appalling unfortunately. Recognised it but didn’t apologise nor did a nice gesture. Overrated and plenty of better options around.

   Our first visit to The Ram and we enjoyed our experience. The fondue 🫕 came highly recommended by my brother, who visits The Ram yearly and loves it.

   We have been in Sun Valley for 5 days and saved going to The Ram for last. Unfortunately, it ranked at the bottom of the dinners we had for the week, but cost the most by about $100 for the two of us. My wife had the tenderloin and I had the sea bass. Both of us considered our meals average at best. The service, though, was quite good and the setting was nice. All-in-all, we didn’t think the experience was anywhere close to being worth the cost. We were much more pleased with places like Rickshaw and Rominna’s.

    Service was outstanding as always. The food was good and consistent. Very dated restaurant. An old school charm that the octogenarians love but really could stand an update.
