The Reserve Steakhouse is located at Harrah’s Joliet Hotel & Casino, located just blocks away from Joliet’s historic Rialto Square Theater, Joliet Historical Museum, Jacob Henry Mansion and Joliet Union Station. The Reserve Steakhouse is an exceptional dining experience for birthdays, anniversaries, and any special occasions.
The Reserve Steakhouse serves the finest cuts of succulent steak, aged for tenderness and grilled to perfection. Prime Rib is a Reserve specialty; served on Friday and Saturday evenings, slow roasted, hand carved and perfectly seasoned with spices. Our signature steaks are hand cut by Chef Tony Florek and his team. The restaurant also serves delicious seafood such as the Reserve Salmon, memorable appetizers, crisp salads and decadent desserts.     My steak was not cooked to my requested temperature, but they made a new one, with additional mushrooms and our server gave us complimentary desserts ! Outstanding way to make our night. The newly grilled steak was perfection. Sides were delicious and service was great!

    Food was above average but nothing to write home about. Several people ordered the prix fixe menu and the portions were very small, especially the dessert. My portion would have been great for a toddler. The best item we had was the short rib. This was very good! The restaurant is very nice looking inside and has a much different feel than the casino (in a good way).

    Too many restrictions on using the hard earned Caesar’s dining credits. Can’t order from the Prefix menu. The burgers we got were super expensive and TERRIBLE!!! No taste whatsoever and it was over cooked when my family specifically asked for medium rare. Even the fries were tasteless and seemed like they were just brought out of the freezer. Not recommended at all.

    Food (excluding dessert) and ambience was good but service was horrible. The waitress is well beyond her working years and should really retire…she did not notice that we were seated at the table and was slow to provide service. (I have eaten before and service was excellent but the waitress we had that night was horrible) It took her over 20 minutes to get us our dessert to go and the bill. It is said we had to ask for assistance from waitresses servicing other tables to assist twice before she showed back up on the floor to take care of us. What made this experience even worst was the dessert. They packed for us to go looked like someone’s leftovers…the Tiramisu looked like someone had taken two bites outfit with a folk and the edges was not cut with a knife…when I brought it back the to the restaurant after noticing that they said they are all prepackaged and reluctant offer to get me another piece which took forever to get. However the new piece was like the ones I had before cut out with a knife and looks presentable. Overall food was great tried the short ribs and chicken Mattone and would definitely recommend.
