   Courteous attentive service and well executed and well presented dishes in a bright airy gastropub. Dishes were inventive and creative going beyond conventional gastropub fare. Overall, good value for money.

   The staff were very friendly. We ordered quickly as we were hungry and our starters came out quickly. We were not waiting long for our mains - the timing between courses was perfect. The food was delicious and there was plenty of it. It was the ideal way to spend a couple of relaxing hours in a Sunday!

   Just superb as ever. Sat in the Orangerie (with my sometimes well behaved dog) and had the most wonderful experience. The sticky ribs for starter are out of this world. The Oxtail Cottage pie was very good, and the Pork Tomahawk was also a big hit. For dessert the Chocolate & Amaretto cake was excellent. If we must find fault I would suggest that the Knickerbocker Glory (when was the last time you saw one of them) perhaps presented a greater opportunity for decadence than was realised. Bravo. See you again soon I hope.

   Midweek booking quieter night. Service attentive and efficient. Food good quality and tasty. Bench seating a little low and soft. Overall very pleasant if a little pricey to go too often but would go back.

   Superb food, excellent service and a wonderful atmosphere. One of my guests had a slight problem which was dealt with efficiently and with no problems ensuing.

    Fantastic cosy atmosphere, excellent food and service. Personal touch with birthday candle in desert as requested. Very efficient and smooth service.
