One of my favorites for a reason. The Salty Sow never misses! We were able to snag a Mother’s Day reservation last minute and were happily surprised to find they had a special brunch menu for the day. This was splendid because my mother-in-law loves buffets, and my husband and I love good quality food. All that to say, the Salty Sow team delivered so that everyone was very happy. We’ll definitely be back for their happy hour (which they have every day of the week ❤️) for the deviled eggs, beet salad, pork shoulder and other tasty morsels. Always loved this place and they continue to prove why every time I visit.

Salty sow is one of my family’s favorite restaurants but we’d never had the brunch buffet. We came for Mother’s Day and it did not disappoint.

We had items from the excellent value Happy Hour menu and an entree (fish and chips). All was very good. The fish and chips were crispy and the fish was fresh and delicious. The only recommendation is we asked for Malt Vinegar, a must for fish and chips. They had none to provide. The fish would have been set off perfectly with Malt Vinegar. Please have a bottle or two for guests that really enjoy it with a fish and chips dish. Will take to dish to the next level. Good service and we enjoyed our visit.

A nice, though long overdue, visit with a long-time friend. We sat and talked, sipping delicious cocktails and enjoying Salty Sow’s unequalled deviled eggs and a great charcuterie tray, all with the careful but unintrusive attention of our server.

Had an amazing birthday dinner at Salty Sow! Our waiter was super attentive and made the night special with a handwritten card and a delicious bananas foster dessert with a candle. The bone marrow was the best I’ve had in Austin—rich and unforgettable. Great food, great drinks, and even the hostess wished me a happy birthday on the way out. Can’t wait to go back!
