   ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Five-Star Experience at Short Club We made it to happy hour at Short Club, and despite a bit of traffic and a business delay, parking was easy, and we had no issues getting settled. This visit was all about trying new drinks, and I have to say—the Sidecar was a standout. It took me by surprise in the best way, earning a spot on my preference list. Now I’m curious to see how other mixologists put their spin on it, but this one was an absolute winner. The food, as always, was exceptional—flavourful, perfectly prepared, and beautifully plated. Service was on point, striking that perfect balance between attentiveness and giving us space to enjoy. My only minor gripe? Our table placement wasn’t ideal, as we ended up next to an overly extravagant (and quite loud) guest. While it wasn’t exactly what we hoped for, it did lead to a few shared glances and laughs of mild discomfort. All in all, Short Club delivered yet another great experience, and we’ll definitely be back for more. Next time, we’ll aim for a quieter spot—but hey, you can’t win them all!

   The food was tasty but the value for the money could be better. The portions of sides were insufficient for the meal (I ordered the salmon with fingerling potatoes and veggie). I was still hungry. I also had significant stomach upset later in the evening, which I can only attribute to the meal as I did not eat anything else out of the ordinary. Service could have been faster with more frequent check ins.

   Ceasar salad was decent, Mushroom Pasta was excellent, fried chicken was dry, chocolate dessert very good. Our server was excellent.

   We had a great meal, and friendly service, but at the same time the service was inattentive, and the food came out slow. We were certainly in no rush, but it was definitely long gaps in the courses, and attention from staff. Given the many options out there, probably not returning.

   It is so difficult nowadays to find a restaurant with carpet on the floor to absorb the noise but this one has it and it made a difference. The food was succulent but on the pricey side. The service was great. Discovered just how close it was to the NAC where we were attending a show afterwards. Enjoyed my experience and the fact that the NAC was just a short walk away.

    Wow great meal. The four of us enjoyed an excellent evening at the Shore Club. Food was superb, service was top notch with server providing knowledgeable information on dining options and was always there when needed, but not overly intrusive. Upbeat vibe and atmosphere. Have been there many times before and will return.
