    Hadn’t been in a couple of years. Was in NYC on business and took my colleague here. The food was better than ever and “Sal,” our server was TRULY ENGAGING, knowledgable and a pro.

    Our server Jianzi was amazing. A breath of fresh air. She was radiant. She was happy to assist with food and beverage choices. We were celebrating a birthday and she was kind enough to say how happy she was that we chose The Smith as our destination for the celebration. Each of our meals were delicious. Shrimp and grits 😍, steak and eggs, avocado toast and French toast were above average good.

    Okay let’s start with this…we go to The Smith for brunch EVERY Saturday…and let’s end with this…the cinnamon donuts (kindred to beignets) with melted chocolate on the side - if you haven’t had them, you are truly missing out on your best life! Branched out and did the French dip sandwich today before donut dessert, and the steak was so lean, the baguette fresh and perfectly crunchy, and the arugula was a perfect addition. Please go and sample for yourself…CJ
