A chic and sophisticated décor provides the setting for our distinctive "world cuisine", a provocative mix of zesty influences that creates a delightful dining experience in Palm Springs, California. Plush high-backed semicircular banquettes surround our dining room and offer comfortable and private seating. The cuisine has a light, exotic feel with an emphasis on Pacific Rim specialties, from Chilean Sea Bass baked in Banana Leaves or Kahlua-Barbecued Pork Chops to all sorts of tasty tapas, salads, wood-fired pizzas, and desserts. The Coral Seas Lounge, a hip mid-century style bar is lined with sexy black leather bar-stools and is reminiscent of the upbeat lounges of old Palm Springs. It wraps around the dining room and leads outside to a lush, tropical, 2000 square foot dining patio where a variety of specialty cocktails and old-school favorites are mixed - an ideal place where friends gather and martinis are sipped under the starlit desert sky.

                                We had the chicken, beef curry , salmons bowl and flat iron steak, plus several salads . We had outstanding food and great service!

                                Textured settings, attentive and upbeat staff, surprising and delicious combinations of flavors and textures. A busy place with a festive vibe. It was an exquisite experience. We will keep coming back.

                                We had a 5:00 pm res for the open air west patio, which is a lovely setting! The service was great - quick, attentive and personable. We usually have to ask for the Happy Hour Menu as it's probably not encouraged on the west patio, but the servers never seem to have a problem with that. The food is good, not out of this world but good! We had the italian salad and the shrimp tacos. The shrimp tacos were a bit soggy. The truffle parm fries were awesome- perfectly crispy and a huge portion that 4 of us could share. We have never had a bad experience at the Tropicale and it will continue to be our favorite go-to-place in PS.
