   We dined here twice during our recent visit to the island, once for lunch and again for dinner on a separate day. Both meals were enjoyable. Lunch was a little less crowded than dinner but service was good for both. The food was excellent but the cocktails were memorable. Their blackened Maui tacos were my favorite lunch bite of the week. Also, they have a short but really good kid’s menu according to my 11yo. Unfortunately, the Tommy Bahama store downstairs was having a sale so lunch cost me 4X’s what dinner did after my wife finished shopping!😁. Great place for a meal any time of day.

   Everything was great as always. Just wish the server would have told us the bread had to be requested. But no other matters. Food was excellent.

   We ate at a TB on Oahu and it was fantastic, so we tried this one. Not the same. The air was blowing from the vents so strongly it was cold to sit there. But the waitress was ever so helpful and finally half way through the meal it was relatively ok. The food I had was not good. The crusted mahi was not cooked very well and tasted “slippery”. For the price I should have sent it back and had them grill it up or simply ordered something else! It was incredibly noisy and thus hard to hear each other at the table. Not a good experience.

    We were super excited to go to Tommy Bahama due to the reviews. We specifically went there for fish and chips which is shown on their online menu which they did not have. We ordered an appetizer which came out very fast. The individual put in on our table and kept walking very fast and I had to gain his attention to ask for two plates. We did not get our drinks until after the appetizer was done and then we were told by the waiter that we must’ve been really hungry (5 pieces of shrimp shared by two people). We were not checked on during our meal until we were done. No one offered to fill our empty water glasses. The service was poor. However, the entrée was very good. We had the mahi-mahi. I would not order the coconut shrimp as it was over cooked very dark brown. The cost was very expensive and I do not think I would return.
