   A truly nice Restaurant great atmosphere, drinks, and good food. Bash who served our table was AMAZING!!!! We highly recommend this restaurant.

   I’ve read that the food was mediocre and overpriced but that was an understatement. The $70 appetizer platter is incredibly small and a rip off. Come for drinks and ambiance. Average tab for 3 people (1 alcohol drink) $275

   Staff was pretty rude and annoyed by basic questions such as “where is the restroom”. Security/ bouncer was incredibly aggressive and disrespectful when asking for directions into the restaurant. Paid a cover charge for a band that barely played any music, and they didn’t warn us there would be a charge when making the reservation. Overall wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone, in fact I would dissuade them from going here.

   Our food appeared to be microwaved and/or old. It was not worth the money. The drinks were okay. We were on our 10 year anniversary as well and mentioned it to several staff and no one acknowledged that except the guy in charge of the outside line. He was nice. The other staff didn't acknowledge us and sat us at a table with no candle, in the back no where near the entertainment. We left early and went somewhere else to eat. Good place to maybe bring children for the entertainment, however, there is no child's menu. Also, the menu had changed from the website's menu. Gratuity was mandatory; 15%. The staff seemed to hate their jobs, though.

   Overpriced and mediocre. Loud band making it impossible to talk. $22 gun and tonic. Never again!

   The food was great, the service was exceptional, and the drinks were delicious. The music however was not great. I’m a big reggae fan but it just didn’t fit the vibe. I was sincerely hoping for some exotica or surf music. Why not play some Arthur Lyman, Martin Denny, or Dick Dale? I think this would drastically improve the ambience.

   Absolutely unimpressed by our experience. We were confronted by a $15/person surcharge for the entertainment that we weren’t informed of until being seated. Service at the front was uninterested if not disrespectful. The server was fine, food was tasty but highly priced. Drinks good. Surprised about the low quality of our experience relative to other reviews.

   Great experience at the Tonga Room last night! We had a wonderful dinner-the drinks we had were tropical and the food was delicious! The band was outstanding and the overall ambiance a lot of fun!

    It was great to visit the famed Tonga Room, if only for the nostalgia. The service was fabulous, the decor, appropriately south sea kitsch. The drinks were fabulous, all be them $22 a piece. We were disappointed that the menu is so limited. Very few entrees, sides and apps to choose from. All very overpriced. The food was good. Not great. It’s worth one visit, for sure.
