Trattoria Il Mulino, the acclaimed casual chic restaurant concept from iconic Il Mulino New York, debuts its fourth trattoria location in downtown Nashville. Guests will enjoy traditional Italian cuisine from the Abruzzo region of Italy under the direction of Il Mulino New York’s Executive Chef Michele Mazza with Chef Konstantin Rubis, adding Nashville influences to the menu.

Menu categories will include soups, salads and antipasti; salumi and cheeses; premium vegetables; wood-fired pizzas; pasta, seafood and steak entrees; and dessert.

The restaurant centerpiece is the signature hand crafted glass paneled wine cabinet, featuring a curated selection of over 350 wine labels from around the world. The restaurant also has a spacious patio on 5th Ave for enjoying al fresco dining.

The Lobster Pappardelle had been a great addition to the menu and has become my wife's favorite. The rack of Lamb is always amazing but I had the Scallop special this time around and was not disappointed.

This is our go to place to dine before a night at the Nashville Symphony. The food is always excellent and there are so many tasty options to chose from. The service is excellent and they get everything right timing wise so we don't feel rushed at all. Recommendations include the lasagna, bolognese, salmon oreganata, brussel sprouts, fingerling potatoes, pesto pasta -- add shrimp -yum, and so much more. Also if you are ever a large group and have trouble booking for New Years -- no problem . We are usually a group of 12 o13 and many restaurants don't want that size group without charging for a private room. No problem -- they accommodated us -- no special charge or room. You can't go wrong at Il mulino. And perfect for the symphony. Free parking if you dine there -- and it;s just across the street. The valet stand is definitely still open after a performance.

This was our first time dining at Trattoria II. We chose this restaurant because it was right across from the Bridgestone Arean and very convenient when attending a Predator hockey game. Overall, the quality of the food was outstanding the service by the entire staff was phenomenal! We will definitely dine at Trattoria II again for our next Predator hockey game.

The food was just okay and for the price I was expecting well above average. My colleague ordered the goat cheeses ravioli and it was 4 small raviolis covered in sauce. I had Ricotta meatballs and a Caeser salad and it was all pretty bland.

Clam spaghetti was marginal. Lobster Papparadelle for $60 had almost no lobster in it. Service was outstanding (Steve). Steamed Mussels were the high light. Convenient to the Bridgestone Center. That is all I can say.

First time in Nashville and we wanted a yummy, nice dinner! We passed by and booked a reservation for the night and were impressed! Philippe was our server and he was amazing! The crab cake and spinach appetizer was to DIE FOR! Was honestly shocked dinner wasn’t pricier with how amazing everything was! Thank you (:

Great Resterant in a great location. This is the first time here but have been to others. This is as good if not better. The staff is amazing and the service is second to none. Everyone needs to go.
