Trattoria Il Mulino, the acclaimed casual chic restaurant concept from iconic Il Mulino New York, debuts its fourth trattoria location in downtown Nashville. Guests will enjoy traditional Italian cuisine from the Abruzzo region of Italy under the direction of Il Mulino New York’s Executive Chef Michele Mazza with Chef Konstantin Rubis, adding Nashville influences to the menu.

Menu categories will include soups, salads and antipasti; salumi and cheeses; premium vegetables; wood-fired pizzas; pasta, seafood and steak entrees; and dessert.

The restaurant centerpiece is the signature hand crafted glass paneled wine cabinet, featuring a curated selection of over 350 wine labels from around the world. The restaurant also has a spacious patio on 5th Ave for enjoying al fresco dining.

One of our favorite Italian restaurants. Always a great date night before the Symphony and close to all of Lower Broad. Love the wine selections! Awesome food! Our waiter was superb!

We stumbled on this when trying to find a place open on a Monday. The food was amazing and the service was great (we had multiple people waiting on us, which was kind of confusing. We made a last minute reservation (5:30pm). We tried for later, but it it aid it was booked However, when we left after 7pm, half the restaurant was still empty. When we got there, the hostess argued with us about whether or not we had a reservation. I made it on open table so went to pick show her on my phone and she said, "oh, I found it." She never said, "sorry that I did not find it right away, " especially when at 5:30 half the place had no one sitting at the tables.

I love this restaurant, it’s always consistent with the quality of the food. It’s not cheap but the portions are large. My wife and I shared an appetizer a salad and an entree and walked away full. We ate at the bar last night and James was fantastic. Perfect night.

We went during the week during lunch and it was a wonderful break from the loud bars around the corner. Our waiter, Julien, was wonderful and the food was amazing! The lunch portions were a perfect size! The ambiance was beautiful and relaxing! Would definitely go again!

First time dining here and the experience was great. The wine list by the bottle is outstanding and the menu options made it hard to choose just one meal! The pork chop was cooked perfectly and the chicken parm was very tasty with a great red sauce! We will be back!

Excellent selection of dining and wine options, even wines by the glass. Everything was well prepared and beautifully presented. Unexpectedly large portions, even the side dishes. Attentive service, friendly not pretentious. We never felt rushed. Definitely make a reservation. We will return!
