Uli's Restaurant is a White Rock institution. Opened in 1986 by Uli Blume, it was one of White Rock's original waterfront restaurants and quickly became a favourite among locals for its great food and friendly atmosphere. Uli's son Tyson took over operations in 2008 and he picked up right where his father left off – providing the White Rock waterfront with a fun and relaxed place to enjoy a vibrant atmosphere, stunning water views, refreshingly simple food, an extensive international beer list, and a diverse selection of wines. Chef Jennie Silk is also making quite an impression on locals as they flock for her impeccable local flavours on the menu.

    Wow, what a wonderful dining experience! We were greeted as soon as we walked in the door, you can tell Ulis is a great place to work because all the staff we encountered were amazing! Our server Grace was fantastic and made sure we were well taken care of! My husband had the catch of the day and I had the Forester Schnitzel, both meals were delicious! Looking forward to dining at Ulis again soon!

    We enjoyed our visit with old friends. The ambience was great but got loud when the next table filled in. Service was best in class. Food was OK but not up to the standards of the competition. The string fries should definitely be discontinued.

    I had amazing service all night up until I had an awkward issue with my bank card and all of a sudden was dropped like a hot potato by my waitress . I would like to giver her the benefit of the doubt and assume she felt awkward too and not the fact she may have been worried about not getting a tip. (Which honestly is what it felt like) I still managed to pay my bill with what I could get off my card and cash I had on hand and still managed to give her a 45% tip.

    Another exceptional, relaxing meal at Uli's. Burrata was so good! Schnitzel was perfect as usual and the paella was next-level. Service was so genuine, helpful, and relaxing. Such a great meal and great spot!

    Uli’s is our go to on the beach. We’ve been going there when Uli’s was the instigator for an impromptu dance party. The food is consistently delicious! Service was excellent Value is still there for great food.

    The staff was exceptional and very attentive to our group. The food was great, everything was good. They make their own hamburger which is not common and gives the burgers added flavour. I am not sure $30 Burger is value but its was enjoyable and I would go again!

    We sat at a table next to the window and it was absolutely wonderful! Impeccable service and truly delicious food! The portions are a decent size, so an empty stomach is recommended. I’ll definitely be returning!
