This is one of my favorite pre-Ranger game meals and was the first time I was disappointed. I had to ask for bread 3 times. The bone in filet was not the usually quality I had come to expect as their was more fat than meat and was also overcooked. The server did not offer the meat drippings and ran away after serving. If I wasn't in a rush to get to a game I would have sent the steak back. Even great restaurants can have an off night. I will try again next month and I hope they will be up to their usual standards. Steak was overcooked. Get the basics right. Waiter saw and kept asking what he should do. It’s obvious. Not going back.

Food was good. Steak was slightly under. Baked Potato was very good. Ordered it loaded. Had Mac and Cheese as well. Would go back again for a 4th trip

Received all our order incorrectly all three meals. Appetizer, main course, and dessert. All meals corrected but lack of attention that I was receiving other tables orders. Every time. Mostly lack of experience as well as attention to customers service. Not to include main dishes not available since all wagyu items were out of stock. Quality of food was good but all the mishaps killed the moment as well as experience.

Service was so bad. Took over a half hour to get a soda delivered to the table. They forgot out appetizers. The food was cold. The bun broke apart in my hands when taking the first bite. They forgot our coffee order with our dessert. The waiter never came over to see how everything was. Just a horrible experience for the price u pay. Oh and they also added an Admin Fee to the bill and when we questioned it they said inflation. So you raise the prices of your food because of inflation and you include a admin fee to the bill?!?! I call bs. Just another scam from the restaurant businesses in NYC Never ever going back to this place. Stay away unless you want cold food poor service and being ignored and forgotten orders and a scam fee.

I was 100 percent happy and impressed. A great cut of meat, filet cooked perfectly and crunchy on top - my favorite. Dessert was pistachio cake / fantastic.

Ever since the pandemic, I used to eat at uncle Jack’s steakhouse all the time when going to a Madison Square Garden event. The quality of the food and service it’s not the same anymore. And I just recently ate there on November 3 to give it another chance. I will not be returning to uncle Jack’s in the future.

On holiday from the UK and wanted to enjoy a New York strip steak whilst in NYC. The restaurant itself had an authentic feel, however the host was rude and brusque. Our food order was taken before we ordered drinks and when ordering sides; $12 for steakhouse chips we were not advised how big the portions were. When the steak was served, I didn’t come slicesd; when I have previously eaten NY strip is has always been served sliced and to add to the disappointment it was raw on the middle and cold. We had ordered medium to be safe. We all usually eat our steaks medium rare. Most of it was inedible. We were not table checked so it was only when they cleared that I had the opportunity them know the steak was undercooked. The host disappeared for a while and when he came back with our bill he had reduced the steaks to half price. Whilst we appreciated this there was no apology or acknowledgement for the disappointing meal.

The stake was not hot. The truffle burger was on a stale bun and the ceasar salad dressing tasted like it was out of a bottle. I eat at steak houses regularly and this was one of the worst meals ever. I could have had a better meal at a low grade chain like Outback.
