    ULC is a wonderful special occasion restaurant…food, service, wine list, overall vibe is great. Family dinner last night in front of the fireplace for my wife’s birthday. Rob, our waiter, is a true pro. Always a great experience.

    We celebrated our 25th wedding anniversary the service and food was outstanding. The chef made a special sauce for me with out alcohol and it was delicious .We always love coming to this restaurant.

    all three of us were impressed with the starters and main courses. After a moderate Spanish wine there was no room for coffee or desert.

    We go every New Year’s Eve. I was not sure we would go back after last year after being charged $34 for sparkling water. I finally talked to my husband back into going and so glad we did. (stuck to tapwater, lol.). Everything was delicious, best we’ve had over the last years.

    Overall our experience was terrific. We have been there a few times before and will no doubt return. What prevented it from being outstanding overall was the unfortunate attendance of a couple of tables of very obnoxious people who had no understanding of the type of place they were in. This is not, of course the fault of the Union League Cafe, but it does bring the quality of the experience down. One would hope there is some recourse for such a situation.
