Vic’s is located in a beautiful old cotton warehouse overlooking the Savannah River and Historic River Street. With entrances on both Bay and River Streets, we are easy to access. Pets are welcomed on our outdoor patio, where guests can dine under centuries-old Live Oaks overlooking Historic Factors Walk. Along with our spectacular views, Vic’s menu reflects Savannah’s Southern charm with our sophisticated take on traditional Southern cuisine and our fresh, local seafood selections.     Cocktails were very good. Biscuits were light and tender. My husband’s octopus was tasteless. He enjoyed his Caesar salad with fried oysters. I had the short rib sandwich. It tasted strongly of cinnamon, which I did not enjoy. Too thick for a sandwich; had to be eaten with a knife and fork. Service was slow.

    I invited some of my colleagues to Vic’s on the River and they loved it. I have never had a bad meal at Bic’s.

    Fried green tomatoes were excellent, as usual. Fried orders were ordinary. Pork chop was well presented, but in a bowl, making carving difficult.

    We visited on a Sunday for an early dinner and it was packed. We had the she crab soup which was very good. The crab cakes were also very good- mostly fresh crab and little binder. Salad was just ok as I found it to have too much dressing and tasted a bit wilty. Biscuits served with the meal were light and fluffy. Our server was excellent- very attentive but not too much.

    Delicious (too many) food choices on the menu! Creative, current and still great southern items. The drink list was spectacular. We come to Savannah at least once a year and always include Vic’s. The atmosphere is beautiful. Wesley, our server, was efficient, intuitive and gave us time to decide despite how busy he was! Great knowledge of ingredients and save good suggestions.
