Vic’s is located in a beautiful old cotton warehouse overlooking the Savannah River and Historic River Street. With entrances on both Bay and River Streets, we are easy to access. Pets are welcomed on our outdoor patio, where guests can dine under centuries-old Live Oaks overlooking Historic Factors Walk. Along with our spectacular views, Vic’s menu reflects Savannah’s Southern charm with our sophisticated take on traditional Southern cuisine and our fresh, local seafood selections.     We had a lovely dinner, service and food were very good. The fresh biscuits with honey butter were warm and flakey. Resiling Poached Pear salad was excellent, along with the wedge salad. Flounder was excellent and pipping hot until last bite, mashed potatoes were so flavourful. Beef short ribs were also excellent. Dessert was great, pecan pie outstanding and the peach trio was very good. We would definitely recommend Vic’s.

    Great experience! You feel sincerely welcomed as you are greeted in entry. We had a wonderfully pleasant server and food as good as expected. thank you to Vick's on the river , I shall be back hopefully soon.

    Promptly seated and waited on . Food came out fast and delicious . The wedge salad and seafood medley were the best things we had . Didn’t love the crawfish beignets, couldn’t taste anything but bread. They split our entree for free . Big portions , good value

    The dinner was absolutely phenomenal. We were seated right after we walked in. We did have reservations that we had made prior to. The waitress, Mary, was wonderful. She was very attentive and kind. We started the dinner with the lump crab cake and it was wonderful. We each ordered the salmon and couscous which was cooked to absolute perfection. It was our wedding anniversary and the waitress brought out a very decadent chocolate dessert for us to share. The entire evening was wonderful. The food was amazing. We would definitely have dinner there again. The only negative I can say about the entire evening was That the noise level was a bit much. I truly expected a quieter dinner.

    I have never left a poor review but if you are traveling to Savannah and have limited time, dine at other establishments. Evening started with a very rude hostess and I will spare the details but one of the rudest I have ever encountered. When we were eventually escorted to our table, despite a reservation and despite having to be moved, the waitress was very friendly and attentive. The food, however, was mediocre at best. Ordered beef carpaccio which was good, fried green tomatoes were underwhelming as were the scallops, fried chicken was dry, mac and cheese needed seasoning as did the collard greens. All in all a disappointing experience and would not recommend.

    Underwhelming. Drinks mediocre. Dinner bland. Restaurant itself is charming. Pre dinner drinks and appetizer at Vic’s River Grille at the river level were outstanding. I highly recommend it.
