   Excellent food and value. Weather was bad that night but certainly ambiance would have been better. Large portions as well. Pork chop, swordfish, tuna, calamari, manhattan clam chowder, wedge and goat cheese salad all would highly recommend. Aperolol Peach Spritzer was very tasty and original.

   The lowered rating is due to a VERY slow kitchen. Food was very good except for the temperature- while not cold, it was consistently lukewarm except for one out of four dishes. We go there for the View though! It is stunning.

   The service was very good, the food was cooked to our satifaction. The water view was wonderful. The tuna fish & scallopps were fresh and tasted very good.

   Great atmosphere friendly service and most of all the food was excellent The staff is very accommodating!  We have dined here before and plan on doing so again. Putin.

   We sat in main dining room which was pretty with great water views. The bar section had live music and even people playing corn hole having fun. Our entrees, cocktails and service were excellent. I always enjoy dining at the View. Never disappoints!

   I love coming here, it's been a special spot for my girlfriend and I since her grandmother used to take her there all the time when she was younger! The server was friendly and attentive, I love the view from the window (as always) seeing the water provides a great ambience that anyone could enjoy. The only unfortunate aspect of the night was one of the servers (not our main guy) spilt red wine on the table. Things happen of course, she knows especially because she works in the industry, but she didn't see what happened and didn't know if she knocked it over. She explained this and the server agreed with mutual blame instead of apologizing. I would've said something, but in situations like this I like to see what the restaurant and staff would do. Even though multiple people asked if she was okay, nothing was comped, not even the about 3 glasses of wine worth from the bottle. We had to go buy her a new outfit after since she was wearing light clothes, and, red wine was spilt on it. So even though I absolutely have loved this place over the years, we were both disappointed in how the situation was handled. Even the simple action of taking responsibility and saying sorry would've probably made the difference of me writing this or not off of principle. And no comp when almost half of the wine bottle spilled on the floor was surprising. Nonetheless, our main server was great, the food was quality! Whether it be land or sea, you can tell the food tastes super fresh which I appreciate. Looking forward to coming back here as it's more often than not a consistent quality of food & service that make for a great dining experience.

    Always have wanted to go here and it didn’t disappoint!! The filet mignon and everything with it was AMAZING
