Amazing food, amazing bartender. The only thing is I went and noted in my reservation I was there for a birthday and nothing special really took place. They even tried to seat us in what I thought was an unattractive corner table by the door. We ended up sitting at the bar, our bartender was amazing.

I was there for a birthday mid week lunch and the restaurant was relatively quiet, particularly where we settled into a back room booth. The service was excellent and non-intrusive with a friendly ambience. We shared mussels followed by fish tacos and the food was well prepared, creative and delicious . Always a pleasurable experience to go to Blacksalt. We will return for a dinner.
