** Wild Ginger - Downtown

The food at Wild Ginger spans the Pacific Rim from China to Indonesia. We pride ourselves on offering traditional dishes from these distinctive regions and insist on house-made ingredients. Chefs make spicy chili sambals, fresh coconut milk, delicate egg noodles, and our pungent oyster sauce all from scratch. To achieve the sublime flavors of the East, there is no substitute for the time-honored customs of these rich and ancient cultures.

Really love Wild Ginger, and Celeste was the best! Food was exceptional, as always, and service was prompt and friendly. Every time I come back to town I get the duck, and every time I’m glad I did.

Love love love Wild Ginger with old fashioned pre-pandemic old fashioned service. The food was delish as always and served quickly. Server never rushes you to move on, rather they are service oriented to what event you are attending so they can gauge serving accordingly. I have two suggestions 1) manhattans are fab but very expensive $16 drink for the amount and 2) mongolian noodles were quite oily as was the oil (most likely those nasty seed oils) on all the dishes but the noodles had the most. Ask kitchen to put less oil in the dishes please! Overall a great experience. Manager even came by to say hi.

Unfortunately we found a hair in our food. They recovered quickly and brought us a new dish but it tarnishes your visit for sure. Its expensive and nothing stood out to us. They were also closing in an hour so we felt rushed to finish as we got told several times.

The restaurant overall needs a refresh. Ambiance at the Seattle location feels tired. During dinner we saw a lady running down 3rd Ave without pants, and a gentleman kissing, talking to, and trying to feed his large plastic reindeer. 7 element soup and green beans were the stars, everything else was satisfactory. It was so slow our server was the bartender pulling double duty. I had to go to the bar and ask for a bottle of wine. Wont go back to Seattle.

One of our favorite restaurants we keep returning to. Excellent menu and delicious food served quickly and with utmost care. The Gluten Free options have expanded in recent years so there are many good choices. Great service, great food, reasonable prices = wonderful experience.

Delicious food in a nice and chic ambient. I came with my work colleagues for a formal dinner, then came back with my daughter and both experiences were delightful with Alejandro’s kind service.
