   The dinner last night with good friend was top shelf !!! Lobster Mac and delicious steak cooked just right - Woodfire Grill at the Kansas Star is a super nice place to enjoy a night out and of course you can play games

   Service was slow, waitress seemed overwhelmed. 1 Steak had to be sent back after it was expressly ordered to have no pink and was totally pink when cut. Did the kitchen get the message or was it ignored in kitchen? Food quality, taste and service has definitely declined over the years. Had to ask about specials and request drink menu - took forever to get drink menu to order first round and brought 1 for table Of 6 not 2. Recommend adding more wait Staff to provide superior service since You are charging premium Prices.

   Valentine’s Day dinner was not it for this place. The food was very bland and my mom and sister’s meats for burnt (short ribs and KC strip) Mac n cheese dry, my burger no seasoning. Very limited menu. There are better options that compare to this restaurant.

   First time dining at Woodfire Grille in a while and we had an enjoyable dinner. Food was excellent and cocktails were perfect. Three small improvements would’ve made it a perfect evening. First, it shouldn’t take 25 minutes to make 2 martinis. They arrived after our salads so we didn’t have time to enjoy the experience. Second, my wife’s Cesar salad had almost no dressing, although they were quick to bring more when asked. Finally, the entire evening felt rushed even though the restaurant was fairly empty (more fast food than fine dining). A few very small changes will make a perfect evening.

   Service, appetizers and drinks were great, but the ribeye was very tough and chewy, but had a good flavor

    What a hidden gem. The whole evening from quiet environment, great efficient service and delicious food at a decent price for fine dining. The key lime shrimp was mouth watering, the table ordered a filet, KC Strip, Ribeye and roasted chicken. All were cooked perfectly. Salads were fresh and presented well. A great evening!
