Food is good as always. I think they may have less servers. It took patience to try and get drinks, napkins, sugar etc.

We were seated when everyone in our party arrived and three food carts came at the same time to our table. I would have appreciated that they come one at a time to make it less confusing to order. Then when we needed more food we had to wait awhile till another cart appeared. After we had eaten the majority of the food, no one came to clear the bamboo dishes for a long time. The food was delicious but the service was spotty.

The steam carts are so welcome - much better than ordering off a menu. The dumplings are translucent, the seafood fresh and in delectable chunks. The sauces are made by the restaurant and far better than the ones from a jar. The sesame balls are a perfect ending to an exquisite dim sum experience!

We always love dining at Yank Sing. They can accommodate allergies and the staff is friendly. This is our favorite steamed pork bun in town and they have a new-ish spinach dumpling dish that is amazing.

We had to wait 25 mins for our table and then rushed to choose food as it was the end of the service time. We were sat on a large table on our own (3 people) so the atmosphere was a little odd! Food was ok, we have definitely had better dim sum elsewhere. Perhaps it was because it was the end of the sitting and not so fresh. I am gluten free and there were two options. Both ok.

This review is somewhat biased. My family and another family have had Christmas Day dim sum at Yank Sing every year for at least a decade and most likely longer (during COVID, we took out from them). We have found that the food has remained consistently very good. And while the space has changed over the years (I miss the roof fountain), the quality has remained.

I will not go back on Christmas Day. It was not what we have experienced at this restaurant before. The food was lukewarm, the service was non existent, and the noise was not conducive to an enjoyable meal. It felt like a fast food restaurant. Not one server even said hello, they just kept going around trying to get us to order lukewarm food as fast as they could. I do recommend this on holiday to anyone. Such a disappointment.

We enjoyed our Christmas dim sum luncheon with family and friends. The dim sum was very different this year with new vegetarian choices, but old favorites were still offered as well. The service was impeccable, the ambiance was perfect, and the table was exactly where we wanted to sit. Looking forward to returning. KZFUNG
