   Very enjoyable. Will be back. Food was very tasty. Service was very good. Appetizers were good. All 5 of us had a good experience at Yoshi’s.

   In the past, our meals at Yoshi's have been excellent. This time, the food was not prepared to the same high standard - the calamari was not hot and fresh and the sushi rolls lacked freshness and flavor as well.

   It has been a while since we dined at Yoshi’s and we were really looking forward to a great meal like we remembered. Unfortunately the beef skewers were extremely undercooked and chewy. The shrimp tempura was overcooked and very tough. The salad was great (hard to mess that up). The restaurant was packed because of the concert so the noise level was elevated. The space between tables wasn’t enough even for the servers and they had to reach over my husband to serve me. Not the best experience we’ve had. Hopefully next time will be better.

   New server, Fiona, seemed nice but overwhelmed and wasn’t able to check on our table until we were more than halfway done and need more drinks. Another table informed us that they only received one entree after ordering two by the same server. Good things improve.

   What could be better than dinner and a show? Yoshi's does both exceptionally well. Convenient parking, efficient service, great food, and 5 star artists in the music venue. Go for the food, but stay for the music. Kampai!

   I love Yoshi’s and generally have had good to excellent dining there. As I’ve done before, I ordered the Tsunami Seafood Ramen. We arrived early well ahead of the start time for show we were attending, and they were just starting to seat other tables. Although the server knew we had a showtime deadline there was an inexcusably long delay in bringing the ramen dish … didn’t get it until 15 minutes before the show over in music room!!!! Only got lame excuses from server. AND when it cane, it was awful! The flavor of the broth was off and it was strangely greasy, but worse: it used thick udon noodles, NOT RAMEN noodles. Like I said, this is a dish I’ve ordered before… this time it was clearly just badly prepped. Inexcusable. I was anxious to get to our show seats so didn’t have time to take issue with it; I paid and left, leaving most of it uneaten and feeling disappointed and disgusted. (We also had ordered a couple starter sunomono salads and friend ordered sashimi … those were promptly served and fine….)

    Great food I give a B + . B+ because we had to chase down the server for water, and the tiger shrimp tempura was not authentic very bland and too thick, not crispy. The drinks I give a C-, they could have been a lot better, a little pricey for the lack of alcohol and flat soda. When we complained that the old fashion and they kept serving manhattans. Rum and coke, coke was flat. Not good. My $800 experience was just average.
